Quotations are available for any delivery upon request and will outline the set cost for the delivery, plus an estimate of the expenses involved.
Skipper and Crew
Where neccessary an RYA Oceanmaster Instructor sail & power will act as Master for all deliveries involving large Sail or Motor Yachts. On occasions a skipper will be selected from our pool of highly experienced crew, and carefully matched to each individual delivery depending upon the type of vessel and requirements of the passage.
Our standby skippers are experienced seamen who have been carefully assessed during previous delivery passages. The minimum qualification held by our Skippers is a Commercial RYA Yacht Masters Certificate, ranging up to the prestigious Class 4 Certificate ensuring professionalism and commitment to the safe delivery of your vessel.
Travel Arrangements
All travel arrangements are made by our team through a variety of tried and tested tour operators to ensure that flights are selected with timescales and value in mind. Flexible travel arrangements are paramount to ensure costs are kept to the minimum, and to alleviate any unnecessary deadlines that may impede the safe delivery of your vessel.
Safety of your vessel
When selecting a route we always choose the safest passage rather than the shortest passage. Experience and research enables J M Yachting to select a route that offers the best compromise between safety and cost.

Pre/Post Delivery
Experience has clearly helped J M Yachting learn the importance of the correct paperwork for a smooth delivery.
Boat preparation is paramount for any delivery. J M Yachting crew will undertake a thorough boat check before departing port to ensure that they are familiar with the vessel and that she is in a good seaworthy condition. Once the delivery is complete the crew will not only clean the vessel but will carry out a post-delivery check resulting in a comprehensive report being compiled on the state of the vessel, and the report submitted to the client.
