When seven yachts signed up for the first organised yacht race at Cowes on 10th August 1826, it is unlikely anyone envisaged that this would become the annual world-class yachting event that we now know as Skandia Cowes Week. With over 1,000 yachts and 8,500 competitors taking part in some very challenging first-class sailing, the Event attracts a wide range of local, national and international entrants, from true amateurs to Olympic and World champions.
Throughout the world, Cowes is known as the home of yachting and yacht racing.
Cowes Week is now a 'Must Attend' event in the social calendar
Competing
Yacht racing is a brilliant way of entertaining your clients. We can supply various packages to suit your everyday requirements from transportation to accomodation.
Why not have a yacht for the week-long event and rotate your clients or customers on a daily basis?
This has proven to be the best way of entertaining masses of people without the extra cost of chartering more yachts.
Our Rob Humphries 414 is available for £6,800 + vat for the week which includes skipper and berthing.
Spectating
You may be sponsoring a Yacht or have a team competing, or maybe you want a slice of the action without having to race.
This is the answer for you - we have a variety of powerboats, ribs and motor cruisers with large platforms for viewing the racing from. Add to this a luxury buffet lunch and all the drinks you want, what could be better!
Logistics
We can provide all manor of services to aid your Events during Cowes Week. We can provide either shoreside acommodation or Yacht acommodation depending on your preferences and privide all nesessary transport issues.
We offer both a free service to and from the Cowes in one of our 7.8m Ribcraft Ribs or a personal trip for just you and your guests. If you choose the personal touch then the Rib would be yours for the entire week which enables you to use the rib both for transport and as a personal photography boat just for your crew.
