Below are just a few of our Events that we have run over 2006. We have tried to give you a varied selection ranging from support boat to international company events. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.

Virgin Atlantic

Another succesfull event. The Virgin Atlantic Event went without a hitch. They had 105 clients on 15 Ribs. The event begun at the Royal Southern Yacht Club on the Hamble River with a lunch stop over at the George in Yarmouth (they decided on their own pontoon!) followed by a prize giving back at the Royal Southern. The event was our renound Solent Challenge (an up market rib treasure hunt) each team was given a team name and in this case it was the destinations that Virgin fly to and the winning team was LA so well done!

Solent Challenge

This year alone we have completed 12 Solent Challenges. Clients have ranged from large corporate companies to smaller private groups.

Herbert Smith

Another successful "Thames Challenge". Herbert Smith wanted a corporate event with a difference. They certainly got that with the Thames Challenge!

Loaded Magazine

A photo shot was needed for Loaded Magazine. The job was to cross the channel by jet ski. We supplied a safety RIB for the shoot - lots of fun!

Volvo Ocean Race - Ericsson

Off the success of our Cowes Week with Ericsson we were asked to support the two week long stop over in Portsmouth and Rotterdam. For the UK stop over we supplied three Ribs capable of taking 7-10 guests at a time. Our job was two fold. Firstly to act as support boat for their Yacht including creating a photography platform. Secondly to provide an alternative to the Corporate Yacht sailing. Ericsson also had 12 Yachts (37'-45'), should the clients prefer not to go sailing then we would provide a Solent Challenge on the Ribs. Great fun and a lot of success!

To conclude our work with Ericsson we shipped two Ribs to Rotterdam to support the Yacht on, during and after the stop over. We look forward to being involved again for the next race.

IBM - Thames Event

We worked with IBM to provide an afternoons Event on the Thames. We provided our renouned Thames Challenge. For this we supplied two 7.8m Ribs. We organised a top notch lunch in St Katherine's Yacht Club followed by a 3 hour Thames Challenge. Very succesfull!

Windsurfing - Cross Channel

We supported 2 windsurfers across the English Channel in a bid to not only break the record but to raise money for the NSPCC. The two lads Dan Simpson and Richard Joans made the trip in approximatly 1hr 14m. Having sailed accross Dan decided to sail the entire way back again. With a one way distance of 22nm we feel that he did very well to cover 40nm in just 2hrs 30m! Well done to the both of you!

Cowes Week - Ericsson

We provided support to Ericsson during Cowes Week 2005 for their Volvo 60.

We were based in Ocean Village at the Royal Southampton Yacht Club where we would meet the guests for the day and ferry them out to the 60.
The first part of our Job was to part organise the marine side of the Job. We had to ferry clients to and from the RSYC to their training boat... the Volvo 60.

Straingly there were quite a lot of things to concider. For example, the 60 has a very high free board (height from water to deck) which ment we had to select our transfer boat with that in mind.

As it happened our choice of vessel turned out to perfect and the whole event went without incident.

Having delivered the clients to the boat we were to act as a photography platform.

We selected the drivers of the Rib on a day by day basis when it came to the photography, so as to provide the best driver for that particular day.

The photo's that were taken we fantastic, each client received a framed copy as they left the Event.

ITV - Cross Channel

We provided 2 Ribs to support ITV during filming for there Airline programme at the beginning of September.

They were filming a section of Airline were they follow a member of easyjet (in this case a pilot!)who was attempting to cross the channel by means of a kite surfing!

Virgin - Cross Channel

We were approched by a land based Events company to provide and manage safety and support to Richard Branson's record attempt.

The brief was to get 20-40 press, VIP's and friends and family across to Calais from Dover. Easy; but the only criteria was that they must have fun and they must be able to see Richard the whole way across.....
We decided to use 24 Ribs for press and VIP's, 4 Ribs for safety and a 40ft Sunseeker for family and closs friends.

We organised everything from transportation to on the water safety and control.

Everything went without a hitch and we are happy to say that Sir Richard Branson completed the record attempt in 1hr 30mins and smashing the previous attempt by more than 6 hrs!

T200

The Trafalgar celebrations were a great success. We took 14 guests out on 2 high powered ribs for a suberb view of the fleet review.

We collected the guests from Hamble kitted them out in waterproofs and headed out into the Solent.

We ran along the isle of wight shore line taking in the view of the warships and finally ending up just east of Portsmouth.

The night was a great success and the fireworks were fantastic. Events like this are always high on our activities list and many more of these will be done in 2006!
